General Comments
Upon investigation, Carmen, an employee, was seen to handle food dispensing utensils, single service articles, and dispense food with a severe skin irritation on her hands. She was not wearing gloves or any other type of protective covering. Upon talking to the manager, she said that Carmen has psoriasis, has seen a doctor, and it is not contagious. This facility is required to provide a letter from a medical doctor stating that the irritation is psoriasis and that she is cleared to handle food and other equipment/utensils without risk of spreading disease/infection.
